Forms low, dense, evergreen, moss-like cushions with medium to dark rose-pink cup-shaped flowers that appear in spring.  Generally grows 4-8 inches tall and spreads 8-12 inches wide.  Excellent for rock gardens, alpine troughs, border edges, and container plantings.
